Brandywine Bay Golf Club
The semi-private golf course is home of the Purple Heart Classic. Brandywine Bay Golf Club was voted, “one of the Best Places to Play in North Carolina”, by Golf Digest in 2006. In 2010, readers of the Coaster magazine voted the club, “Most Outstanding Course in 2010”.
Visitors to Brandywine Bay will discover towering pine trees as well as water and sand hazards that challenge players of all skill levels. The Brandywine golf course offers four sets of tees and measures well over 6,500 yards from the championship tees.
The Brandywine golf course opened in 1977 and was redesigned by Ellis Maples in 2003. Highlights include a pro shop, golf clinics, a practice range, chipping area, putting green, and a bar and grill. Brandywine Bay Golf Club is available to host golf tournaments and golf outings.
