The Croatan National Forest is considered a “Coastal Forest” and stretches across more than 160,000 acres. It’s surrounded by the Neuse River, Bogue Sound and White Oak River, making for unbelievable views and landscape. This coastal forest includes pine forests, swamps, estuaries and bogs.
