History Place
The Carteret County Historical Society was created in 1971 with the primary mission to preserve the history of Carteret County. The Morehead City History Place has artifacts dating to the early 1800's and offers programs and special events throughout the year.
Take the family to the History Place for a free tour of the museum.
This educational attraction is located in the heart of downtown Morehead City, and houses:
