Housekeeping Department


Emerald Isle Realty Housekeeping Department is currently hiring cleaning subcontractors, Quality Assurance Inspectors and Housekeeping Expeditors for the 2014 rental season. Applications / contracts are available in the Housekeeping Department at Emerald Isle Realty, 7501 Emerald Dr, Emerald Isle, NC. Housekeeping Quality Assurance Inspector:

Requirements:

  • Strong customer service orientation and skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in written communication
  • Ability to prioritize
  • Detail oriented Must be dependable and available to work assigned/flexible schedule and overtime hours
  • Must have dependable transportation
  • Must be able to work weekends Work well in a fast paced demanding environment
  • Computer literate

Duties:

  • Communicate effectively by phone and in person with owners, guests, co-workers, and housekeepers
  • Inspect rental properties to ensure that the level of cleanliness meets or exceeds standards
  • Enforce Standard Unit Appearance
  • Replace household items in rental units and submit necessary paper work for billing Report any damages to rental properties
  • Ensure that rental properties are secured
  • Change heat/air filters
  • Ensure that the Housekeeping front office area is neat and tidy at all times
  • Clean rental properties if necessary
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Housekeeping Expeditor/Runner Assistant:

Requirements:

  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong customer service orientation and skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in written communication
  • Ability to prioritize
  • Detail oriented
  • Must be dependable and available to work assigned/flexible schedule and overtime hours
  • Must be able to work weekends
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
  • Work well in a fast paced demanding environment

Duties:

  • Communicate effectively by phone and in person with owners, guests,
    co-workers, and housekeepers
  • Deliver and/or pick up household items to/from rental properties
  • Stock housekeeping inventory
  • Change air conditioning filters if necessary
  • Change light bulbs
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Assist rental guests if necessary
  • Other duties as assigned
