The Cape Lookout Lighthouse and National Seashore is about a one-hour drive from Emerald Isle, stretching across 56 miles from the Ocracoke Inlet to the Beaufort Inlet.

The Cape Lookout Lighthouse is open for climbing tours every Tuesday through Saturday from the second week in May to the third weekend in September.
