Heart for Service is Emerald Isle Realty’s monthly community engagement program that embodies our dedication to giving back. From environmental conservation to supporting local nonprofits, each month we partner with a different organization to provide hands-on support and resources for our community.
After your stay, we invite you to bring any unopened, non-perishable food items to our office and place them in the designated baskets in our lobby. Each year, these generous donations amount to thousands of pounds of groceries, providing vital supplies for the pantry at Caroline’s House.

Year-round initiatives include a Charity Food Drop in the EIR lobby that collects thousands of pounds of groceries annually for Caroline’s House food pantry, school supply partnerships with Backpack Friends, and support for local health care, arts, and emergency services organizations across Carteret County and the broader Crystal Coast.
