The Jean Preston Memorial Park is located at 6800 Emerald Drive, adjacent to the Emerald Isle public boat ramp. The large playground is ideal for a wonderful family outing away from the beach, but still close enough to have the breeze from the ocean wash over you.
One of the most popular features of the playground is the AeroGlider, a ride that sways back and forth. You’ll find ladders, slides, bridges and plenty more for the kids to do to burn off some energy. And the park was built so that no child was left behind. Specialized playground equipment allows children in wheelchairs to join in all of the fun.
The Jean Preston Memorial Park is the perfect place to take in the brilliant sunsets in Emerald Isle, all while the children are enjoying the playscape. The sound of the waves and children’s laughter seem to wash away the stresses of everyday life.
