Event Description

Make plans to bring your family to historic downtown Swansboro, the “friendly city by the sea,” for the annual Swansboro Five-O King Mackerel Tournament. This Crystal Coast fishing tournament offers cash and prizes upwards of $180,000 based on a 50-boat participation.

The Swansboro Rotary fishing tournament series is sponsored by merchants from Swansboro, Cape Carteret, Cedar Point, Emerald Isle, Atlantic Beach and surrounding areas.

All of the proceeds from the tournament are used for scholarships, supporting programs such as Take a Kid Fishing, Project Christmas Cheer, as well as other local causes.

Tuesday, October 17

At the Swansboro Rotary Club

Captains’ Party: 6pm
Captains’ Meeting: 8pm
TWT Registration open: 6pm – 9pm
(Open online until Wednesday, Oct 18 at midnight)

Thursday-Saturday, October 19-21 (Pick 2 out of 3)

Fishing Days & Weigh-In
Fishing Days begin: 7am
Check-In by: 5pm

Lines in the water at 7am • Scales open at 4pm • Must be in line by 5pm

Saturday, October 21

At Saltwater Grill, Downtown Swansboro

Awards party: 7pm
Awards Presentation: approx. 8pm
