Kick off the holiday season at the Annual Gingerbread Festival, a beloved Crystal Coast tradition held at the Crystal Coast Civic Center in Morehead City. Explore he Civic Center’s transformation into a sweet wonderland filled with gingerbread creations, family-friendly activities, and holiday cheer—all benefiting the Crystal Coast Hospice House. Delicious concessions and holiday sweets will be available for sale.
Families can enjoy a variety of holiday activities, from kid-friendly crafts and games to festive face painting. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be on hand for photos and letters to the North Pole, making it a magical experience for children of all ages.
The centerpiece of the festival is the Gingerbread Competition, open to bakers of all ages and skill levels. Visitors can admire the creative displays, vote for their favorites, and see winners announced during the Sunday Awards Ceremony.
Admission is free, but donations are appreciated.
