Beaufort Wine and Food Festival


No vacation would be complete without tasting some of the delicious local cuisine. The 2018 Beaufort Wine and Food Festival is the perfect way to sample the best dishes Emerald Isle has to offer. The festival runs from Wednesday, April 25 to Sunday, April 29, in historic Beaufort, North Carolina and includes everything from wine pairings to live music and silent auctions.



Wine and Food Festival Schedule: Wednesday and Thursday

Festivities kick off with a wine luncheon and wine-paired dinners prepared in private homes and local restaurants by visiting chefs. The dinners, featuring four to six courses are guided by local winemakers.

Wine Luncheon
Wednesday, 12 – 2 p.m.

Private Home Wine Dinners
Wednesday, 7 p.m.
General Tickets $125. BW&F Members: $112.50.

Wine and Food Festival Schedule: Friday

The festival hits full steam on Friday with several events that will satisfy your inner foodie and fashionista.

Fashion Show & Auction
Friday, 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
A multi-course luncheon will be served up by a renowned guest chef and local winemaker. The luncheon will also feature a local fashion show featuring various items for sale by area boutiques and retailers. A silent auction will also be going on during the luncheon.
General Tickets $50. BW&F Members: $45.

Wine, Bread, Cheese & More – Seminar
Friday, 3 – 5:30 p.m.
Head to the North Carolina Maritime Museum Watercraft Center for a crowd-favorite wine, bread and cheese seminar. Here, you’ll learn about a variety of pairings presented by a local winemaker, a cheese monger and a bread maker.
General Tickets $50. BW&F Members: $45.

Grand Reserve Tasting & Auction
Friday, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.
Friday’s events close with a Grand Reserve Tasting and Auction. Here you’ll have the chance to indulge in world-class recipes and wines prepared specially for this event. Celebrity guest chefs will be mingling with guests during the event, which will also have music and philanthropic opportunities. The live auction at the event will feature large format and fine wines, travel excursions and other unique luxury items.

Wine and Food Festival Schedule: Saturday

Vin de Mer Culinary Village
Saturday, 1 – 4 p.m.
Featuring more than 300 different wine labels, Saturday’s events get started with dozens of area restaurants gathering for demonstrations and samplings at the Vin de Mer Culinary Village.
General Tickets $65. BW&F Members: $58.50.

Historic District Wine Walkabout
Saturday, 5:30 – 8 p.m.
Grab your walking shoes and enjoy wine and food pairings on the Historic District Wine Walkabout. During this event, attendees will visit four different chefs at some of Beaufort’s most beautiful historic homes to sample freshly prepared dishes. Groups will meet at Beaufort Grocery Annex, 115 Queen Street, to be broken into four groups of 30.
General Tickets $100. BW&F Members: $90.

Saturday Night Roundup
Saturday, 7:30 – 10:30 p.m.
The day ends at the Saturday Night Roundup where guests can sample beer, wine and specialty spirits from area restaurants paired with local food. Live music from the band, The Holy Ghost Tent Revival, will keep guests on their feet at Front Street Village.

Beaufort Wine & Food Festival Hall

Wine and Food Festival Schedule: Sunday

Champagne Celebration Brunch
Sunday, 12 – 2 p.m.
The festival ends with one last guest-favorite event at the Champagne Celebration Brunch, featuring a multi-course brunch paired with champagnes and sparkling wines.
General Tickets $100. BW&F Members: $90.
