Newly constructed this year, Hooked on the View is new to Emerald Isle and has an In-House Rating of Platinum, meaning it has top-of-the-line design and superior appointments with gorgeous views of the water from the outdoor decks that bookend the three levels of the property.
The common space at Hooked on the View takes advantage of these incredible views by having an open concept floor plan that combines the kitchen, living and dining spaces. This space features light natural-wood flooring that adds to the cottages seaside character and light blue walls and beach decor to make the room feel cool and relaxing.
The kitchen was built to accommodate large groups, so no worries when it comes to folks crowding to prepare meals or running out of space in the fridge. In fact, Hooked on the View has two refrigerators, two ice makers, two ovens and two dishwashers to help you entertain and cook up delicious meals with ease. With a massive island in the center of the kitchen, you will have plenty of counter space and seating for two where you’ll be able to let your inner chef shine. Upscale stainless-steel appliances at the helm including a glass top range and French door refrigerator will make building a delicious homecooked meal easier.
Off of the kitchen is the dining room where you will find a large farmhouse table with seating for 14 under a grand seashell-laden chandelier. And while you dine-in, you’ll be surrounded by welcoming views of the water. The adjacent top floor living room has two sofas and two recliners that are pointed in perfect view of the wall-mounted HDTV.
Outdoor Bliss
To make your experience that much better, all outdoor decks have great views of the ocean and are ready to relax on with plenty of lounging furniture available. If relaxing is your forte, take advantage of Hooked on the View’s large private swimming pool that also provides lounging furniture around and a tanning deck for a perfect day at the pool.
Located on the second row, beach access is just a short walk away from the cottage and clean up after the day is a breeze with the outdoor hot and cold shower available. The ground level also has a massive rec room that is a gamer’s paradise featuring a pool table, foosball table, ping pong table, air hockey table and a large flat-screen TV for a home theatre-like viewing experience.
Other amenities available at Hooked on the View include elevator access to each floor, wireless high-speed Internet, premium cable channels, smart TVs throughout and a washer and dryer. Linens are also provided through Sandcastle Club linen service with beds made.
A Room for Everyone
With seven bedrooms that include three king-size beds, three queen-size beds and two sets of bunk beds, you should have no problem accommodating everyone on your trip and each room is adequately appointed with its own private bathroom.
Hooked on the View has three master bedroom suites, each with a king-size bed and deck access. Wall-mounted smart TVs in each room will make catching up with your favorite TV shows or movies in bed easy and an option for relaxing night in. Three other bedrooms have queen size beds and have plenty of natural light that comes through the large windows or French doors that go out on the deck.
The last bedroom is great for kids and has custom built-in bunk beds that have full-size beds below and twin-size beds on top. The bunk beds also have a built-in staircase in the middle for a safer option to access the top bunk. This room is also on the ground floor making for easy access to the rec room.
