The two-day annual Beaufort Music Festival is held every May in Beaufort, NC. The festival strives to present a diverse line-up of music, while at the same time, introducing fresh musical acts.

Beaufort Music Festival draws music artists from all around the county from various genres like R&B, folk, blues, punk, bluegrass and more. Past BMF performers include the Avett Brothers, Robert Randolph and the Family Band, St Paul and the Broken Bones, Margo Price, Richie Havens, Southern Culture on the Skids and many more.

In addition to the amazing weather and music for locals and visitors to enjoy, the Beaufort Music Festival is a family-friendly event that provides an immersive experience for all ages. The event features great food served by food trucks, a family fun area filled with plenty of things to do with the kids and a beer garden that highlights North Carolina craft brews.

The money that is raised helps to fund not only the festival, but also goes to support the local community with outreach activities.

Friday, May 17, 2024: Doors open at 4:30pm & music starts at 5pm

Saturday, May 18, 2024: Doors open at 11:30am & music starts at 12pm


Festival Location

The music festival takes place at Gallant Channel in Beaufort, NC.


Festival Parking

Parking is VERY limited on site so there will be FREE shuttle stops on both days of the festival. Shuttles start at 4pm on Friday and 10:45am on Saturday:

  • Beaufort Town Hall – 701 Front Street
  • NC Maritime Museum Bus Loading Zone – 315 Front Street
  • Beaufort Elementary – 110 Carraway Drive
  • Old First Citizens Parking lot, 800 Evans Street, Downtown Morehead City
  • Shuttles will run until midnight each day

VERY limited paid parking will be available onsite at Gallants Channel both days of the festival – $20/vehicle.
