Calling all buccaneers! Spend a weekend on the beautiful waterfront in Downtown Beaufort, North Carolina and watch as the town comes to life with the sights and sounds of pirates overrunning the town during the annual Beaufort Pirate Invasion.
This two day pirate festival offers fun and entertainment the whole family will enjoy. Come see sights such as sword fighting, cannons firing and black powder weapons demonstrations and displays, a mock trial, pirate hanging and so much more.
Visit the Living History demonstrations at encampments located at Beaufort Historic Site on Turner Street and in Eury Park and hear the harrowing tales of the pirates’ escapades to find hidden treasures.
Check out the Blackbeard and Queen Anne’s Revenge exhibit at the North Carolina Maritime Museum and pick up your BPI Most-Wanted Card to find all the pirates, including Blackbeard himself, and collect some BOOTY!
Stop by the Watercraft Center and visit our stage in the new Harborside Park for some lively entertainment.
Along the waterfront there will be a multitude of activities such as musical entertainment, magic shows, children’s costume contests, a balloon artist, stilt walker, storytelling, and vendors.
