Event Description

This FREE festival is one of the area’s most popular, drawing in more than 200,000 people to Morehead City. For more than 25 years, the festival has provided residents and visitors alike with world-class entertainment, family fun, and most importantly, the best seafood you’ve ever tasted.

Food lovers have the chance to sample just about every piece of seafood imaginable or learn how to prepare their own with chef cooking demonstrations.

The NC Seafood Festival also features amusement rides, music concert, road race, pier fishing tournament, sailing regatta and the annual Southern Outer Banks Boat Show.

Parking

Parking at the NC Seafood Festival is FREE at the NC State Port and includes a free shuttle ride to and from the festival grounds on Saturday & Sunday ONLY. The shuttle leaves from the state port and carries attendees to 4th Street.

The address for NC State Port is: 113 Arendell Street, Morehead City.

Shuttles

The shuttles available to take attendees from the NC State Port to the NC Seafood Festival run during the following hours:

Saturday: 9am-midnight
Sunday: 10am-7pm

Other lots around the footwall area are operated by community groups; most of these areas charge a daily fee to park.
