The Harrier Sundown Celebration in Cherry Point, North Carolina, is a multi-day event honoring the legacy of the AV-8B Harrier aircraft and the Marines who served with it. Held at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point near Emerald Isle and the Crystal Coast, this special event features open houses, live entertainment, and a ceremonial farewell as the Harrier reaches the end of its service life.

The week-long celebration includes many events that are free and open to the public, while select experiences, such as the gala and golf tournament, require tickets.

10:00 am – 3:00 pm: VMA-223 Open House with AV-8B Static Display and Simulator Tour

4:00 pm – 8:00 pm: All American Picnic Havelock Park with food, live music, and an AV-8B flyover
