Event Description

The Beaufort Historic Rotary Road Race has been a local tradition for more than 40 years. This fun family event features a 10K, 5K and 1-Mile race.

 

Starting Times:

7:30 am- 1 Mile Run/Walk

7:55 am- 5K/10K Wheelchair & Baby Jogger participants

8:00 am- 5K Run/10K Run

 

Entry Fees:

Early registration is encouraged to receive your shirt size requirement. The cut-off date for T-shirts- is 5-20-23 (Bringing back the sailboat)

1-Mile: $30 – Registration Online Only – Kids 12 and under run free

5K: $40 – Registration Online Only – Kids 12 and under run free

10K: $45 – Registration Online Only

Virtual 5K: $35 –  Registration Online Only
The Virtual 5K event will begin June 1st and runs through June 13, 2022. The cost for registration is $35. Registration costs include one short-sleeved t-shirt to be mailed to your home by June 25th.

Price increases after April 30, 2023 at 11:59pm EDT

 

Wheelchair and Baby Jogger participants are welcome in any of the three events. Pets are welcome on leashes or in strollers.

 

Parking:

The Town of Beaufort offers free parking on race morning until 10:30 a.m. this applies only to public lots, not privately owned lots. Parking along side streets, if not designated, paid parking is free.

 

Packet Pickup:

Pre-registered participants may pick up packets on Friday, June 9th, from 3:00-6:00 p.m. in Beaufort at the Train Depot building, 614 Broad St, Beaufort, NC 28516.

Race day packet pickup will be in-person on-site at “New Location” The Vault Parking Log” from 7:00- 7:30 AM.

Beaufort Historic Road Race

Timing:

This year’s race will be timed by Run the East using disposable Bib Tags. Runners must pick up and wear their race bibs during the race. Make sure you do not bend the timing chip on the bib.

 

Awards:

Medallions are given to the following:

  • Top 3 overall male & female finishers in the 10K & 5K
  • Top 3 male & female masters finishers in the 10K & 5K
  • Top 2 male & female age group finishers in the 10K & 5K
  • Top 1 male & female wheelchair finishers in the 10K & 5K
  • Top 1 male & female baby joggers in the 5K
  • Oldest & youngest finishers in all three races
