The Core Sound Waterfowl Museum & Heritage Center is proud to host the annual Gallery of Trees. Once again, local families and organizations tell their story with beautiful handmade decorations on crab pot trees throughout the museum gallery and education hall.
Decorations on the crab pot trees will feature the story of Shackleford Horses, vintage decorations from Ocracoke, memories of Portsmouth Island, along with the Core Sound Quilters’ original quilted ornaments and family treasures from many of Down East communities.
Jarrett Bay Boatworks, Emerald Isle Realty and other long-standing businesses will add their touches to this wonderful new annual tradition.

Opens November 20 and remains on display through the new year, during Museum hours (Mon-Sat 10 am-5 pm, Sun 2-5 pm)
