Upon arriving at Emerald Isle Realty’s offices to check-in for your stay, you will receive a welcome bag containing pertinent information for your stay.
If I have questions during my stay, who can I call?
Emerald Isle Realty has our own excellent, in-house Maintenance Department, and throughout the year we schedule maintenance and repairs on a priority basis. Repairs are occasionally necessary as appliances and air conditioners can fail at inconvenient times. If you have a maintenance concern, you may call our office at .
Who do I call for assistance after-hours?
For after-hours maintenance, housekeeping, linen emergencies or key lockouts, call and leave a message on our voice mail. Our night duty personnel will be paged. Response time averages 30 minutes or less, unless they are detained by a previous call. Simple plumbing repairs, A/C or appliance failures must be scheduled between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM daily. Please note that a $25 fee will be charged for all after-hours key lockouts.
Are housekeeping services available?
If you have a housekeeping concern or special request please call our office at , immediately upon your arrival. Housekeeping service is available daily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
If you are one of the fortunate families who are able to stay two weeks or longer, please call our Housekeeping Department on Friday or Monday to schedule your mid-stay cleaning. A few special homes offer a mid-week tidy. Please call to schedule or inquire about this service.
Do you have beach gear available to rent?
Emerald Isle Realty proudly partners with Island Essentials, a local company that provides beach gear rentals including beach chairs, chaise loungers, umbrellas and much more. For your convenience, delivery and pick up of the rental equipment is always free to your vacation home, and rentals are available on a weekly basis. Call ahead for availability during the summer months.

Emerald Isle Realty has teamed up with Lowes Foods to provide grocery services. Lowes Foods offers online grocery shopping that’s quick and easy to use. Simply select the items you would like to purchase and once you’ve finished shopping, choose a pick-up time or, for added convenience, have your groceries delivered right to your vacation rental. Delivery does require 24-hour advance notice.
For the ultimate in culinary convenience, guests may also request a personal chef to prepare their vacation’s meals from breakfast to supper, plate-ready and chilled in the refrigerator upon check-in.
If your property states Sand Castle & Classic Carolina Club or Island Club, then the homeowner of your vacation home has provided bed linens and bath towels for you as an extra special amenity. Click here for more detailed information on linen services.
If none of these linen clubs are mentioned in your description, then you may elect to “join the club” and reserve this amenity package for yourself. Simply call one of our reservation specialists prior to your arrival.
