Neon Nights: Glow Big or Go Home

EVERY TUESDAY NIGHT — ALL SUMMER LONG

If you’re looking for affordable family fun experiences along the Crystal Coast, then you must check out Neon Nights: Glow Big or Go Home. This new shore excursion takes place every Tuesday night at Carteret County Speedway.

Entertain the whole family at Neon Nights for up to 4 hours for one price! Neon Nights offers a combination of interactive activities ranging from tug of war and relay races to water games, a foam party and the capstone attraction, the “Journey Through the Decades” Laser Light Glow Party and Laser Show. Optional food items, concessions and upgraded experiences are available for purchase separately.

This is one summer event you won’t want to miss!

Day Time Activities

A variety of relay races and water games will be led by Miss North Carolina Petite 2023, Emily McCray, and other activity leaders. Dry zone activities include tug of war, sack races and three leg race.

If getting drenched on a warm summer evening sounds fun, then you may want to bring some towels, water shoes, and a change of clothes.  Our optional splash zone will include water games and relay races and a foam party.

Do The Mess Around ​(Upgraded experiences for charity!)

“DO THE MESS AROUND” sponsored by Brittany Mess of MacDonald Realty in Jacksonville, will add a variety of experiences designed to make a difference. When you donate $10 to either Tunnels 2 Towers or Carteret County Mental Health, you will get a light up wristband to show your support for your chosen charity. This wristband also gives you the option to participate in slime your activity leaders and the glow color run.

Food available at Moonshinerz:

Take a break at Moonshinerz, sit down in the AC, enjoy some food, and a drink. Please do not enter the restaurant if soaked or covered in foam.

Schedule

Day time events:

• 7:00 pm – Doors Open; Night Begins; Meet Your Activity Leaders
• 7:15 pm – Field Games, Yard Games, Line Dances, Foam Party Begin
• 7:30 pm – Kids Jam
• ​7:45 pm – Water Relay Races
• 8:00 pm – Back to the 1980’s
• 8:30 pm – Slime Your Activity Leaders

Night time events:

• 9:00 pm – Late Night Only Tickets May Enter; Yard Games, Field Games and Foam Party ends
• About 9:20 pm – Decades Laser Light Show & Glow Party Begins (depends on darkness)
• 10:00 pm – Glow Color Run to Benefit Tunnels 2 Towers and local Carteret County non-profits
• 10:30 pm – Final Glow Foam & Paint Party in Splash Zone
• 11:00 pm – Neon Nights will end between 11:00 and 11:30 pm each week depending on attendance and weather.

Doors Open at 7:00 pm. Event will end between 11:00 and 11:30 pm.
