Gather with us at The Cottage this September for the Sound Harvest Fall Experience. This food and wine tasting is presented by Carteret Community College Culinary Arts School, Carteret Local Food Network, MF Chappell Wine Merchant, and The Cottage.
Enjoy fresh locally sourced produce and seafood from Crystal Coast farmers paired with hand-selected wine with breathtaking oceanfront views, all prepared by locally renowned Chefs and the Carteret Community College Culinary Arts students that will design and create each mouthwatering sample. Meet local produce and seafood farmers who will share their stories and the diverse bounty of The Crystal Coast including Grays Farm, Soul Shines Acres, Harlowe Custom Microgreens, Crystal Coast Oysters, Shenk Family Farm, and Two Bees Farm.
Sip on wines selected by Brett, certified sommelier, and Jen, WSET Level 2, of MF Chappell Wine Merchant. Like the foods we find here at the coast, they believe that wine is made by real farmers. Enjoy this from the decks of The Cottage, North Carolina’s only oceanfront event venue.
A portion of the proceeds from this event will support Carteret Local Food Network, a grassroots organization aimed at strengthening the network of county residents who value local food and local food producers.
